Perpetua
( Summary )
Perpetua was a large scale interactive projection-mapped mural by Algorithm in Smithfield, Dublin.
A painted art piece by day, the installation was transformed into an interactive projection-mapped mural by night. A constantly evolving abstract 3D artwork, visitors to the opening night were invited to interact with the piece by touching the surface of a window in the opposite building, interacting with it like a transparent touchscreen.
I was responsible for designing and building the unique virtual touchscreen interaction system, and the interactive portion of the projected visuals.
