RTE Shine Your Light

This project is incredibly dear to me and is one of the highlights of my creative career so far.

As part of the RTE Shine Your Light solstice TV special in 2020, I was given the opportunity to projection map the iconic 'sundial' kerbstone 15 at the Knowth megalithic site in Meath, Ireland. Approximately 5,500 years old, the Knowth kerbstone carvings are a national treasure and represent some of the oldest artworks in Ireland.

Over a 3 day period I was responsible for art directing the piece, creating and rendering the animations and projection mapping the stone. I also created accompanying visuals for a musical performance by Clannad as part of the same event.
